  1. Ken,
Episode 062 has got to be the best one yet, and that’s saying something because each one is better than the ones before. I found, and began listening to, your podcast a couple months ago and I started at the beginning. I’m bummed I now have to wait a week for a new episode!

I created my presentations in 1998 that are patriotic and usually include me singing. As you talked about looking at what people say your gift is, singing is at the top of the list. It doesn’t hurt that I lead worship at my church every week.

A lot of local service clubs, chamber of commerce and other events like to have me speak (I think it’s because they know I will!) with either my presentations or other business topics.

I have been struggling for the past 3 years with a yearning to be a full-time public speaker. However, I am making a low 6-figure income as a CEO of a local organization. I can’t make the “jump” without a fully implemented plan and I don’t know how to do it.

I have my first paid keynote speech in 15 years in August, I’m working to put it together using the S.C.O.R.R.E method I learned from reading your book Secrets of Dynamic Communication. I must tell you I’m very nervous about it but at the same time I know I will do well because I am preparing diligently.

I want to attend the Launch Conference, I just wish it wasn’t so far off. After all of this, how do I plan to eventually make the jump? I am 57 and I have put a timeframe out there of two years. However, my board of directors wants my full attention and attendance here.

Thank you for the podcast, your book and your encouragement.

    • Hi Mark!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! We are thrilled you’re enjoying the podcast! It certainly sounds like you are at a pivotal time in your life. You’re right – the Launch Conference sounds like a great next step for you. However, it sounds like you don’t want to wait until April to learn more about how to make the jump. Might I suggest Communicator Coaching? You can email joyg@thefrontlinegroup.com or visit http://www.communicatorcoaching.com to learn more. This might be a great solution until you can get to the Launch Conference. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions – I’m happy to help! You can email me directly at laurenb@dynamiccommunicators.com. Thanks!

I told them goodbye, and they said they sere sorry but they needed money for school….. just wanted you to know people are using your name to get money…don’t know what you can do about this but just wanted to let you know.

    • Hi Eileen,

Thank you so much for letting us know about this. Would you perhaps be able to send us the link to the person who is impersonating Ken? You can reply to this comment or email me directly at lauren@kendavis.com

      Thank you!

  3. OUTSTANDING Ken! This is a must listen episode for anyone who wants to understand the process of recognizing and acknowledging your gift and how you can use it–whether it happens to be communication related or not. WELL DONE!!
